Heritage District Connectional Grants
The Heritage District has funds available for Connectional Grants. These are small amounts given for program ministries or projects that the church is not able to fund. 2020 Heritage District Connectional Grant Application. Contact Donna Foster.
We are writing to inform you of the action approved by our Conference Board of Pension & Health Benefits (CBOPHB). This is a difficult time adversely affecting our daily lives and ministries in many ways. In response, the CBOPHB convened to consider how it might provide a measure of financial relief to our churches over the next several months.
The Michigan Conference offers a Toolbox full of information and resources on how individuals and congregations can respond to COVID-19 in healthy ways.
The Health Crisis Toolbox includes these resources and much more. Updates will be made on a daily basis as new information becomes available. Please check back often and remain tuned to the Facebook page of The Michigan Conference of The United Methodist Church.
The Michigan Conference now offers Safe Gatherings as an online certification. Safe Gatherings allows you to chaperone children, youth and vulnerable adults at district or conference level events. Whether you are a district/conference chaperone or are part of a church group that is hosting a district or conference event, this certification is required.
